Tallow Drawing Salve

A drawing salve is a traditional topical preparation historically used to help soften and condition the skin and encourage surface impurities or foreign matter to come toward the surface, making it easier to cleanse the area. Drawing salves have traditionally been made with rich oils, waxes, and ingredients such as activated charcoal and herbal extracts.

Our Tallow Drawing Salve is a handcrafted blend of beef tallow, hive-fresh beeswax, grapeseed oil, activated charcoal, and arrowroot, complemented by tea tree, lavender, and sweet orange essential oils.

The nourishing combination of tallow, grapeseed oil, and beeswax creates a rich, protective salve, while activated charcoal gives the formula its characteristic deep colour. Tea tree and lavender provide a fresh, herbal aroma, balanced by a touch of sweet orange.
