Lard's composition is the closest to human pH and skin properties than any other oil or butter used in soap making, making it least likely to cause reaction or irritation to our skin. Honey acts as a natural humectant and antioxidant keeping your skin feeling hydrated and nourished. AND, the sugars in the maple and honey make for a fantastic, bubbly lather!
